Kiel considering MSU, Ole Miss

Posted by JAMES JONES on April 2, 2013

Former Notre Dame quarterback Gunner Kiel has visited Cincinnati, but told ESPN other schools are under consideration. Kiel decided to transfer from Notre Dame last month.

Kiel has been contacted by Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Kansas State. Tennessee, Ball State, Northern Illinois and Miami (Ohio) are also a possibility. He hasn’t chosen a school to visit.

Under NCAA rules for transfer students, Kiel must sit out the 2013 season.

The 6-foot-4 Kiel is the nephew of former Notre Dame and NFL quarterback Blair Kiel.
