Moss Point adds its signs

Posted by Christina Steube on April 1, 2013

I was driving through Moss Point last week and I noticed a familiar sign. I had only seen the artist renderings of it before, but now it was upright and on the corner of Jefferson and Main Street in Moss Point.

The Moss Point welcome signs have been in the works for several months now. The signs were constructed and designed by Built-Rite Signs in Gulfport for a total cost of $21,000.

Mayor Aneice Liddell said the city needed a marker to identify where their limits were.

I have not personally seen the second sign, but plans were to locate it near Pelican Landing.
