Crimson Tide signs two forwards

Alabama figures to make a strong run at the NCAA Tournament next season.

The Crimson Tide, who plays Maryland in the NIT quarterfinals tonight, signed a couple of interior players-- Shannon Hale of Arden, N.C. and Jimmie Taylor of Greensboro, Ala.

Hale is 6-foot-7 small forward, while the 6-foot-10 Douglas could play power forward and center.

All-SEC guard Trevor Releford is expected to return for his senior season. If the Crimson Tide gets strong inside play, they'll reach the field of 68.
