Picayune RB runs with power

— Picayune junior running back Preston Dedeaux could enter next season as the Coast's top college recruit.

Dedeaux opened the 2012 season with a 300 yard rushing effort against Biloxi in the Shrimp Bowl.

A shoulder injury midway through the season likely kept Dedeaux from a 2,000 yard rushing season. Still, he managed to rush for over 1,600 yards and made the Sun Herald's All-South Mississippi football team.

The Big 3 schools-- Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Southern Miss-- have all expressed interest in the 5-foot-11, 200-pound Dedeaux.
