Has Clemson found Boyd's successor?

Chose Clemson on Feb. 1

— The Tigers, coming off a 25-24 upset over LSU in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl, recently landed a verbal committment from Gainesville, Ga. quarterback DeShaun Watson.

Watson chose the Tigers on Feb. 1, several days before the 2013 National Signing Day. He's the top-ranked quarterback prospect by Rivals.com, 11th overall and will enter the year as Georgia's number-one recruit.

While Boyd enters his final season at Clemson, the Tigers can slowly work Watson into their spread offense. They are both strong-armed passers with the ability to run.
