USS America takes over Chicot Street cleanup

Posted by Tammy Leytham on March 5, 2013

Pascagoula has a partnership with various organizations that help keep its streets clean. The USS Arlington had adopted a portion of Chicot Street, but on Friday turned that cleanup over to the crew of the USS America.

Some members of each crew are pictured here as they make the switch.

Pictured are Petty Officer First Class England, Commander Buckley, Lt. Bradum, Master Chief Petty Officer Jefferson, Petty Officer First Class Tillery and Senior Chief Petty Officer Miller behind her.
