1/31/13 — Several of Mississippi state's recruits are now considering other schools. South Panola offensive guard Deon Mix, ranked fifth by the Sun Herald, recently visited Ole Miss. Houston defensive end Chris Jones, ranked second by the Sun Herald, is now considering Ole Miss along with MSU. Biloxi wide receiver Scott Austin, who chose MSU last summer, is reportedly headed to Louisiana-Lafayette.
