BLOG: Football coach resigns at East Central

East Central High School head football coach Marcus High turned in his letter of resignation today, athletic director Gary Long said today.

High's team went 3-8 this year, his fifth at the school.

“We got his resignation today and it was kind of a mutual agreement,” Long said.

High's resignation won't be official until the next school board meeting.

“Coach High has been an asset to our school and he's a great guy,” Long said. “It's just a situation where you have to move forward.”
