A Bay St. Louis man is in critical condition after a one-car accident early this morning.
Matthew Murphy, 30, of Bay St. Louis was driving on Daisy Vestry Road north of Latimer at 3:45 a.m.
Jackson County Sheriff said he was traveling at about 70 miles per hour when he hit a tree. Byrd said alcohol may have been involved.
Murphy was taken to Singing River hospital in Ocean Springs.
