— A search of the Escatawpa River for someone who may have fallen from the Mississippi 63 highrise bridge will continue this morning at 9 a.m., Police Chief Keith Davis said.

Police, firefighters, Coast Guard and the Jackson County Sheriff’s flotilla team will be joined by Department of Marine Resources in the search, which began shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Davis said a couple reported they saw a man fall off the railing of the bridge. Investigators will speak with the couple again this morning, he said.
