BILOXI — Kevin Lee Gibson, 51, of Iberville Drive in Biloxi was arrested Sunday for allegedly assaulting a law enforcement officer, according to the Biloxi Police Department.

Officers were attempting to take Gibson into custody for driving under the influence, the Police Department said, when he allegedly attempted the assault.

No officers were injured. Gibson, the department said, suffered minor injuries. Biloxi Regional Medical Center treated and released him.

He was then jailed in Harrison County under a $50,000 bond set by Judge Bruce Strong.
