Man pleads guilty to Exploitation of a Child for child porn charges

— Gautier resident Paul Allen Raposa, 50, pleaded guilty this morning to four counts of exploitation of a child involving the downloading of child pornography on his computer.

Circuit Court Judge Robert Krebs sentenced Raposa to a total of 20 years on each count, with five years to serve day-for-day and the remaining time under post-release supervision, along with a total fine of $6,000 and orders to pay $1,500 to the Victim's Compensation Fund and $1,000 to the Mississippi Children's Trust Fund. The sentences will run concurrently.
