Hard Rock explores expansion options

JOHN FITZHUGH/SUN HERALD Hard Rock officials present preliminary plans for a new hotel to the Biloxi Development Review Committee on Wednesday.

Four and a half years after opening, Hard Rock Casino Biloxi needs more room and is considering expanding its hotel tower north of the resort's swimming pool near U. S. 90.

Hard Rock officials are meeting today with Biloxi's Development Review Committee.

"We're not ready to make any announcements yet," said Duncan McKenzie, Hard Rock Casino Biloxi general manager.

Karl Bulot, senior vice president of non-gaming operations added, "We've got to know what we can build on that footprint."
