LONG BEACH - A motorist who crashed into the front of Winn-Dixie on Cleveland Avenue about 8 a.m. today had a seizure before his pickup rammed through the front glass windows, Police Chief Wayne McDowell said.

The hood of the pickup came to rest inside the store. McDowell said the store manager had a minor wrist injury while trying to help the motorist out of the truck.

McDowell said the driver was alert when paramedics arrived.

The driver and the store manager were taken to a hospital. No other injuries were reported.
