Trade group meets with Moss Point teachers in closed meeting

Published: April 20, 2011

— Representatives from the Mississippi Association of Educators are meeting with Moss Point teachers this morning about what to do if they've lost their jobs.

The meeting is closed to the press and teachers said they didn't want to talk to the media.

MAE President Kevin Gilbert estimates that 102 teachers lost their jobs last Friday, just before Spring Break started.
