The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources will reopen oyster reefs Friday at legal sunrise.
The DMR said the areas include Square Handkerchief reef, southern portions of Henderson Point and Pass Christian reefs and northern portions of Pass Marianne and Telegraph reefs.
The harvest is for tonging only.
