These are the best of times in South Mississippi, when the Cruisers come to town. At any point on Highway 90, we might pass a T-Bird or a Model T Cruisin' along. Wednesday the cars, their owners and their fans will fill the streets of downtown Biloxi. They start arriving early to get the best spot. Some like the shade. Others want to be in the lineup near City Hall. Just when you thought you saw all the best cars and trucks, you turn the corner and there is another street full of classics. 
It's a time of poodle skirts and muscle shirts. The good old days revisited.
