The National Weather Service in New Orleans has extended the heat advisory for the Coast until Sunday evening.
This means the combination of the high temperatures and humidity will make it feel well over 100 degrees. In some areas, it could feel as though it's 115 degrees.
There is only a small chance of rain through the weekend, so make sure you dress in cool clothes and stay hydrated.
