CLAUSEN'S COLD DROUGHT

Posted by jkjones on April 23, 2010

To quote Wally Cleaver from the 50 TV series "Leave it to Beaver," Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen is probably sore right now.
The most-ready quarterback to play as a rookie unexpectedly was bypassed through round one.
When Tim Tebow went to the Denver Broncos in late round one, I'm pretty sure that set well with Clausen. He did not leave Notre a year early to have several teams pass over him.
Texas quarterback Colt McCoy was not expected to go into round two tonight anyway, but Clausen had been projected as a top 10 pick.
The guess here is McCoy goes to Cleveland. Buffalo will move up to get Clausen, who fills their quarterback void.
