TGIF for Mississippians?

Posted by jkjones on April 23, 2010

No player with Mississippi ties were picked in the first round on Thursday, but the Magnolia state should end that drought tonight.
Alabama nose tackle Terrence Cody, a former Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College standout, should not have to wait long to hear his name called. Cody was considered a borderline first-round pick and will go early in round two.
Rounds two and three will take place tonight, and other Mississippians are expected to receive calls from NFL teams.
Mississippi State linebacker Jamar Chaney, Ole Miss offensive lineman John Jerry, running back/receiver Dexter McCluster are the likely candidates to go between rounds two and three.
