Police seize herbal shop's stock

LONG BEACH -- Narcotics officers today seized smoking devices and herbal incense from Herbal Extreme on complaints that the business is promoting them for illegal purposes.

Assistant Police Chief Don Bass said narcotics investigators and the Harrison County sheriff’s Narcotics Unit seized pipes, bongs and bags of incense.

No one was arrested but Bass said charges are expected as the investigation continues.

The business is at 624-A West Railroad Street. The business could not be immediately reached for comment.
