Jackson County man sentenced to 20 years for manslaughter

Circuit Court Judge Kathy King Jackson this morning sentenced Thomas Carr to 20 years in prison for the June 20, 2008, stabbing death of his wife, Margie Faye Carr, 66, at their Parker Road home in St. Martin.

A Jackson County jury last month convicted Carr of manslaughter. The maximum sentence for manslaughter is 20 years.
