Anonymous allegations about a meth lab at a Saucier residence led to the arrests Monday of Eric Len Newton and Tiffany Marie Crabtree, said Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara.

Deputies searched the couple’s residence and found five different precursor chemicals and a large amount of drug paraphernalia, the sheriff said.

The couple, both 19, live in the 19000 block of Jabour Drive, which is off Palmer Creek Drive.

Both were held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.

Each is charged with possession of precursor chemicals with the intent to manufacture meth and a misdemeanor paraphernalia charge.

Justice Court Judge Diane Ladner set bond for each at $100,000.

The jail docket shows Newton also is held on two counts of old misdemeanor fines with “cash only” bonds that total $765.
