Deputies and narcotics officers jailed seven people over a two-day period in unrelated cases alleging the suspects were found with active meth labs or the chemicals used to make meth.

Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara said the officers found a meth dump site Tuesday at Bonvillian Drive near Hudson Lane in Saucier.

In one case, three people allegedly were found with an active meth lab at a residence on Bell Creek Road in Perkinson. Arrested were Robert Eugene Young, 39, who lives there, and Sonia Renee Buckman, 26, VFW Road, Kiln; and Jason Raymond McQueen, 29, Alkoko Place, Diamondhead.

Officers arrested two men accused of having a meth lab in a vehicle around Firetower Road and Interstate 10. Arrested were Kevin William Dedeaux, 41, Lizana School Road, Saucier; and Ronald Steven Ladner, 30, Road 370, Kiln.

In a traffic stop in the same area, officers arrested Jerry Patrick Palang, 30, of Shalimar Drive, Long Beach. Palang was a passenger in a vehicle found with precursor chemicals, the sheriff said. The driver, identified as David Crenshaw, ran away, Brisolara said. Crenshaw was apprehended on Wednesday. His age and hometown weren’t available.

Officers responding to a domestic complaint on Hudson Lane in Saucier allegedly found precursor chemicals at the residence. They arrested Edward Scott Bailey, 22, on a precursor charge and called for a hazardous disposal team.

All seven suspects were held at the county jail on bonds ranging from $50,000 to $100,000.
