Rando murder case sent to grand jury

— Jeremy Rando told investigators he accidentally shot Nicholas Patterson during a drug deal, but the victim was wounded three times, a detective testified today.

Rando heard the evidence against him in a hearing before Hancock County Justice Court Judge Ricky Adam this afternoon.

Adam said he found probable cause to send the murder case to a grand jury. The judge also denied a motion to reduce Rando's $1 million bond.
