Storm with hail, strong winds passing through South Mississippi

The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a severe storm warning in Hancock County, Harrison County and parts of Pearl River County until 4:15 p.m.

The storm, capable of producing penny-sized hail and damaging winds up to 60 mph was located about 10 miles north of the Kiln moving southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Residents of these areas should seek cover until the storm passes.
