Gov. Haley Barbour, his wife Marsha and a line of other dignitaries cut the ribbon this morning to dedicate a new Boys & Girls Club in Pass Christian.

The $5 million facility is located at the intersection of Church Avenue and Second Street.

Barbour told the "Good Morning America" audience during an interview with Robin Roberts that the gymnasium would be named for the Roberts family. A formal announcement is expected later this morning.

Mississippi Power CEO Anthony Topazi, who co-chaired the capital campaign for the Boys & Girls Club of the Gulf Coast, said this facility is 28,000 square feet, cost $5 million to build. It was paid for by the Qatar Katrina Fund.

However, the Boys & Girls Clubs also have raised $13.2 million in donations to build three other facilities on the Coast.

"At this point, we can go ahead and start construction on the other facilities," Topazi said.
